You were probably too young to have had classes with Wyatt -- I think by the 90s Wyatt was in Arizona teaching at Taliesin -- but Beloit was a strange and wonderful place. At least among my friends, none of us planned to go there, but we all got a terrific education and in retrospect, had a really wonderful college experience, in large part because of the dedication of the faculty. Wyatt was only one of a group of exceptional professors I had at Beloit ....
