New Year, New Blog

New Year, New Blog

I’m expanding my blog universe this year with a new blog venue on my personal site, Charlotte McGuinn Freeman. For an explanation of what I intend to do over there go take a look at my first post: New Year, New Blog.

I have no intention of dropping LivingSmall — this is where I’ll continue to write about sustainability issues, gardening, cooking, my dogs and life on the edge of the Paradise Valley. But I’m looking forward to stretching my brain a little bit and to writing about some new topics as well. So bookmark them both, and here’s to a healthy and prosperous 2011 for all of us.

  1. All the best with this, Charlotte. I’ve been thinking almost exactly the same things about our own blog. But I hadn’t thought of splitting things this way — two blogs, that is. Have you read \The Big Short\ or seen \Inside Job\ yet? Your sentence about corporatism made that two works come immediately to mind.

By the way, I tried to make a comment on your new blog site and couldn’t for some reason — something either not set up yet or something I didn’t understand.

    1. Hi Chris — thanks for the good wishes — I think I’ve fixed the comment thing at the new blog — boy, back to work in progress and glitches and forgotten passwords. You’ll remember I sort of went through this last year too … so we’ll see. One blog for sustainability/garden/food stuff and one for my “writer” self? Saw your festive Xmas photos on Facebook — looks like you all had a wonderful holiday! It was a good one here too — lots of kids, some quiet time at the cabin, time off, best of both worlds.
