Hello to any of you who came in via yesterday’s piece in the Livingston Enterprise — and please know, it’s not a “pig stomach” I cured in my basement, but a regular-old pork belly. I might be odd, but I’m not that odd!
I'm a writer and editor based in Livingston, Montana. I moved to Livingston from the San Francisco Bay area in 2002 in search of affordable housing and a small community with a vibrant arts community. I found both.
LivingSmall details my experience buying and renovating a house, building a garden, becoming a part of this community. It also chronicles my efforts to rebuild my life after the sudden death of my younger brother, and closest companion, Patrick in a car wreck.
Oh, cool! Is there a link to the article?
Unfortunately the Enterprise isn’t online yet — they just have the weekly digest.
Aw. Okay. Was I quoted? She asked me for thoughts, but I may not have gotten back to her in time….
Duh! I totally forgot — you were quoted — you said something very nice about me that I can’t remember off the top of my head. Email me your snail mail address and I’ll send you a copy (I need to go get a couple more anyhow — I sent mine to my poor grandmother who is in “the slammer” as she calls it recovering from surgery). Thanks!
What a great little blog. I left Livingston for greener pastures back in 1988. And was so happy a few years back when the Enterprise started putting some web content which gives me a weekly view of the comings and goings of Livingston. This week it bought me to your blog. I added you to my favorites.
Joe
